BIVOL TRUST COMMITTEE

The Bivol Trust is run by a management committee of Trustees who have responsibility for the charity and its work. The Committee also has representatives from its groups who attend meetings. This is to ensure they have a voice and can provide valuable perspective.

OUR COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Debbie Edwards
Chair

Debbie formerly worked at the Mary Rose School and has both professional and personal experience of caring for people with disabilities. She also volunteers for the Portsea Youth Club. She has been involved with Bivol Trust for many years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Committee having been involved in the early work in Romania.

Aidan Molloy
Vice Chair

A retired social worker with over thirty years’ experience, Aidan has been involved with Bivol Trust for a number of years and shares his wide knowledge and experience of working with adults, children and families, the disabled and the elderly.

Jamie Merret

Jamie has worked in finance and administration for many years and contributes to many aspects of the Trust’s finances specialising in payroll. He is an accomplished musician and regularly contributes to the Zoom Group and to the various Bivol music and fund-raising events.

Rob Turner

Rob contributes to most of the Bivol Groups with a prime focus on the Music and Art Groups. He is an accomplished musician and artist and provides much of the direction and strategic growth of these groups and with other project work.

Alison King

Ali has a lifetime of experience looking after her children, two of whom have autistic
spectrum conditions. She has also spent many years representing parents on a number of professional groups and research projects. She has been a volunteer with the Trust for many years and brings invaluable knowledge and experience to the Committee.

Mike Paddon

Mike retired in 2021 after 45 years working for banking, stockbroking and wealth
management firms in the city of London. His focus is on fundraising, governance policy and administration and assisting the Trustees with strategy. A musician, Mike also contributes to the Zoom group and various Bivol musical and fund-raising events.

Beth Franklin

Beth has a leading role in administration and control in the retail sector and is well
positioned to look after Bivol Trust’s social media platforms. An accomplished singer, Beth has performed in and around Portsmouth for many years and regularly contributes to Bivol musical and fund-raising events.

Linda Canning

Linda is a key member of Bivol Trust having been involved with the Trust for many years. She helps to deliver and steer Bivol’s various art projects, working closely with service users assisting them in developing their skills. Linda also contributes to other group activities and attends Committee meetings

REPRESENTATIVES

Ashley Edwards

Ashley is an integral part of Bivol Trust. As a volunteer he helps with various duties at Group sessions where he regularly contributes too. He was one of the Trust ambassadors in Romania and is a loyal supporter of Portsmouth FC.

George Creamer

George has been involved with The Bivol Trust for many years.He is a keen fund raiser and contributes to various Bivol Trust projects. He is a loyal supporter of Portsmouth FC.
